HOW TO MAKE A POEM

If you desire to live in harmony,
With a partner, a lover or your spouse.
To create a life of milk and honey,
Not easy together in the same house.

You must tolerate their faults from the start.
Learn to love your partner for who they are.
Without this, you may as well live apart,
For your lives will not progress very far.

Romance has many problems, as we know,
Quite often a simple truth, may offend.
Emotions cause pain, if we let it show,
Thoughtless words can bring your love to an end.

This is why you need to show tolerance,
Without this, we only have severance.

Roses are used as a symbol of love.
Be careful, when you hold them in your hand.
There are thorns below the flower above,
Hold too strong and you will soon understand.
 
Just as with love, you must use gentleness,
Firm grip, is required, but not too tight.
True feeling, must be shown with your caress.
Practice is required to get things right.
 
Worry too much and you will not succeed.
You have to learn to be calm from the start.
True love can cause strong emotions indeed.
Such emotions may pierce thorns in your heart.
 
This journey is hard, to find love’s power.
Your reward is a beautiful flower.

When we are with Angels, how do we know ?
We may see a Feather fluttering down,
Or find a Penny on the ground below,
A favourite song may play, when we frown.

When Angels are here, we will see a sign,
Perhaps a Song Bird dancing to his song,
Or a flock of geese, flying in a line,
Maybe the wind will sigh, as it blows strong.

Angels are always trying to help you,
And more so, when the cause you have is good.
Your reasons for wanting help, must be true.
I hope, that this advice is understood.

Angels will only help you, when you ask.
You require humility for this task.

If you are fair, then people will cross you,
Don’t let this offend you, just give your heart.
If it seems, that they still have to argue,
Kindness will be distrusted from the start.
 
If you are honest, you will be cheated,
These challenges, each day will come to be.
Emotions will often be depleted,
Happiness attracts people’s jealousy.
 
The goodness you do, will soon be forgot,
But continue to do good anyway.
This will make you happy, like it or not,
Unkind remarks, will often come your way.
 
Remember, it’s not them you have to please,
Live your “Golden Life”, with freedom and ease.

Is there a child, locked away, in your mind ?
When you have to work, do you want to play ?
When you are mean, do you want to be kind ?
When you are sad, do you want to be gay ?

Is it wrong to follow these thoughts inside ?
Is this child temptation too much for you ?
Is your experience to be your guide ?
How do you know, what you have learned is true ?

So if you have these thoughts in the future,
Perhaps there is much you still have to learn,
Are you following instincts or culture ?
Where your thoughts come from, should be a concern.

Maybe your child soul, has been locked away.
Is your culture leading your soul astray ?

It is easy to say “Love Thy Neighbour”,
But what if your neighbour kills another ?
Hatred, that results, can be a labour,
After war it is hard to recover.

Love is required, in order to bring peace.
You have to forgive and endure this pain.
You must heed this thought, if war is to cease.
If you keep hatred, war will come again.

This rule is no use, for just one person.
All of us have to do this together.
Without this end, failure will be certain.
This result will be quite an endeavour.

It’s not easy for people to do this.
Without this, war will be an abyss.

Whenever, we are in need of healing,
When the stress of life, has taken its toll,
Walking with nature is a lush feeling,
The rains come from heaven and wash your soul.
 
Rather than sheltering under a lee,
Which most people would do from common sense,
Early days as children we would run free,
Our emotions would be far less intense.
 
As the rain washes down over your face,
You can imagine nature’s honeyed milk,
Walk forward calmly, in a state of grace,
As this moisture covers your face with silk.
 
Such thought will remove worry from our mind,
Healing peace and tranquillity, we find.

Fear of the unknown is a common fault,
When we see deep into our subconscious.
We can be terrified by our own thought,
If our will to reach trance is serious.
 
Practice will help us overcome our fears.
We become wiser, as we start to dare.
Happiness from our success, turns to tears.
All things speak to us, if we are aware.
 
Few people know of this transformation,
That we have to endure, to reach spirits.
Please take this into consideration,
When we take our minds, beyond known limits.
 
We can reach spirits of the ones we love,
When we are aware of the God above.

When the Sun is out and the day is clear,
It is so easy to see with real light,
But when the day is gone and night is here,
In the blackness, you can see white.
 
Life’s Forces can easily hide by day,
Camouflaged from our natural vision.
The Sun’s light is more powerful than they,
But in darkness, they form a procession.
 
Things can be seen by the light of the Moon,
From Fairy dust to Orbs, quite apparent.
If you study close, you will see more soon,
Many Spirits are often transparent.
 
Look closer still and Angels you will see,
Working together, to help you and me.

How often in our life does the Moon shine ?
Each month, as it completely comes and goes ?
It clearly can be seen, when nights are fine,
It’s shape is carved by our planet’s shadows.

Is it true, that the Moon can shape our fate ?
Magnetic influence can come and go.
Whether it can start or end, we debate,
If something ends, then we must start also.

So when we make a wish for something new,
Then something old, we often have to lose.
We often wish upon the Moon, it’s true,
Be careful, when you wish, just what you choose.

Sometimes, what you have, can be all you need.
To lose it, could be very sad indeed.

Is it true, that people work together ?
Just how do we motivate each other ?
We join forces like birds of a feather,
Teamwork, with our sister or our brother.

Partners and friends, obtain more energy, 
I have always wondered why this seems true.
Group efforts grow, as does a prodigy,
An unseen force, motivates me and you.

Can this force be a power of the mind ?
Can this power we witness be called ZEN ?
Can like groups of people become entwined ?
By this power that is given to men ?

Families and friends, together are bound,
Wherever you look, this is always found.

They say that music is the soul of life,
It’s vibrations lift our heart to heaven.
The way to happiness instead of strife,
To make our rough and rocky life even.
 
All the colours we see, have vibrations,
The wavelengths of light play a song.
These thoughts are for our consideration,
Radio waves play music all day long.
 
Are our brainwaves effected by music ?
Can nice sounds change the way, that our mind feels ?
If so, this must be an amazing trick.
Possibly a way to cure all our ills.
 
It is true, that music can make us dance.
Soft sounds can help us go into a trance.

I once had a romance, that I thought was ideal, my secrets shall now be revealed.
Look for good in your lover, never bad, then only goodness will ever you build.
Like a mirror you will see your own faults in others, including the ones that you love.
Your marriage will stay happy, but you need to make rules and pray to heaven above.
 
When your partner is selfish, then you must be too, or you could not see such a weakness.
If you were not selfish, then you would be giving, and would only see your spouse’s kindness.
Many things are needed to make a good match, talking, listening and understanding.
Trust is important, otherwise feelings are hurt, because confidence will be lacking.
 
Emotions are good, but if they are too strong, all your weaknesses will be uncovered,
Your feelings are hurt, from annoying arrogance and anger, which will be discovered
Happiness is not given, it’s always inside, like a spirit trying to escape.
If you are not happy and prefer to be sad, then this is the fate, that you will shape.
 
Then how did I fail, with so much wisdom, to make my marriage last for twenty five years ?
I worried too much, until eventually I died and left all my loved ones in tears.

What is SUCCESS ? I ask you : Is it a state of mind ?
It’s a word that’s spoken daily, throughout mankind.
A word that suggests, you have reached the heights of desire.
Quite often, when you get there, you can see higher.
 
When you do, you will see someone else looking down at you, to your disgust,
Saying, “ Why not come up here LITTLE MAN and be a SUCCESS with us ? ”
I suppose you could answer, “ I may stay here, or come up there, but I’ll only be passing through.
There are higher places for the likes of me, should I wish to go there, because I’m SUCCESSFUL too.”
 
What do we need to SUCCEED ? Is it something we should do each day ?
Perhaps it’s already with us, or something we should take away.
SUCCESS is what you make it, but don’t cry !! if by chance you lose,
If you are SUCCESSFUL, then you can do anything you choose.
 
If you could buy SUCCESS in a potion, or grow it from a seed,
The best thing it could do for you, is to remove your desire to SUCCEED.

Love comes free to us all, Love has no chains,
Love has no limits nor a boundary.
Love has no owner, Love comes like the rains,
Love is magical, just like a fairy.

Why do we possess, when we should caress ?
Why do we fight, when we think we are right ?
Why do the pains of love cause us such stress ?
Why does the magic of love bring us might ?

Love is to be shared with everyone,
Love can’t be bought, but does have great value.
Love may be happy, can be sad or fun,
Love is for our family, me and you.

No room for jealousy or possession,
No anger, fear or greed, learn this lesson.

Our animal kingdom, needs to survive,
The power of love, makes us continue.
Natural instincts drive us to stay alive,
Reproduction makes our old lives renew.

Love, is the force, that keeps us together,
Without this power, there is no future.

Love’s dynamic strength, will always be here,
Without love we can no longer proceed.
Family love, helps to overcome fear,
Love is essential to our lives, indeed.

There is one point, I would like to debate,
If we need love to survive, then why hate ??

If you can conceive and believe, then do.
This is the wonderful route to healing.
Anything you imagine can come true,
When you start to understand this feeling.

Is it humble to say we are SORRY ?
Sometimes we may be afraid to offend.
So we say SORRY, because we worry,
Just in case, we have bad feelings to mend.
 
Some people consider this demeaning,
Dominant Humans, may think we are weak.
This behaviour has a lowly feeling,
But the scriptures say, “Blessed are the Meek”.
 
The Meek are thought to inherit the Earth,
Leaders of the World may well destroy it.
May be the Meek will have a Right at birth,
A Meek World would be fit to inhabit.
 
So when we are Humble to be Polite,
Inheriting the Earth could be our plight.

When we do things together, life is fun.
Together, we can be partners or friends.
Our Human senses explored one by one,
And cope with all problems, that Nature sends.
 
When we walk by the River hand in hand,
Watching other people, do their own thing.
The sound of music, from a nearby Band.
Listen and you may hear an Angel sing.
 
Sharing thoughts and ideas, is romantic.
Eating food together can be sublime.
Being together is far less frantic.
To stop and smell flowers, from time to time.
 
Friendships like these will never die away,
When we do things together, day by day.

When ruled by emotions, how do we cope ?
With fear of losing the one, that we love ?
All we can do, is have Faith, Trust and Hope,
And say a prayer, to heaven above.

If we should try to control or possess,
So easy to drive a loved one away.
Jealous thoughts can make love’s freedom far less.
Without freedom, they will not want to stay.

It’s hard to judge and get the right balance.
You have to learn to cling, but not too hard.
Sometimes you have to trust and take a chance.
Just stay watchful and don’t let down your guard.

When you love someone, learn to trust them well,
Instead you could make their life living hell.

Avoiding approaches from men with lust.
If rich with money too, then be aware,
Impossible to know, who you can trust.

To live life amongst high society,
Dinner with politicians and film stars.
Fashion models on the cat walk to see,
Being transported by men in large cars.

To survive, you must become capricious.
Yet gifted with the magic of kindness.
Hard in business and always suspicious,
To proceed without thought would be blindness.

A lover of poetry and songs to sing,
Which is why she still has my diamond ring.

There’s a special place, high up in the sky,
Far above the clouds, where heaven is blue.
This is where all the Free Birds go to fly,
When you reach there, you will find love so true.

Good thoughts, you need to reach these clouds so fine.
As they pass, their cold ice will touch your soul,
Giving healing with God’s heavenly wine.
Illness drifting away as the clouds roll.

Meditation is needed in your mind,
You have to travel on an Astral Plain,
Leaving your physical being behind,
To free your thoughts and body from all pain.

Be careful though, when this goal you achieve,
When you get there, you may not want to leave.

When you say a prayer, are you thinking ?
Or are you just reciting an old verse ?
Do the words you pray have any meaning ?
Or are they just lines for you to rehearse ?

Are you perhaps repeating more verses ?
Do you remember the words, you have prayed ?
Do you forgive people, their trespasses ?
Were you taught to say these words and obeyed ?

When you say prayers without true meaning,
Do you really expect to be answered ?
If you speak from your heart with true feeling,
And pray what you mean, then you will be heard !

Are your prayers, words you are just saying ?
Learn to say your words with love, when praying.

From the time of our birth, we have to learn,
The lessons of life are often painful.
Life’s wisdom is a skill we have to earn,
We learn from mistakes, which are plentiful.
 
Experience of age can be golden,
It would be good, if we were wise at birth.
Some people are born gifted for certain.
The knowledge we gain from life, has great worth.
 
The greatest lesson we have to digest,
Is, that people we love may die one day.
Mourning for loved ones, is our greatest test,
The way we think, can take this pain away.
 
When awareness of Spirit, we achieve,
We can be glad of life, rather than grieve.

Do you think of Summer, whilst snowflakes fall ?
Do muddy paths through forests become clean ?
Then raging winds, could be your mating call ;
Behind those dark clouds, the Sun can be seen.
 
In darkness are you able to see light ?
And during the day, can you close your eyes ?
In order to pretend, that all is bright.
Do you see blue skies where the Eagle flies ?
 
If someone makes you sad by complaining,
You know, how good it is, to feel such sense ;
Your emotions are forever changing,
As contrasts, can make you feel, less intense.
 
Harmonic thoughts, give you many notions ;
Rather than problems, you see solutions.

Why do we remember Christmas each year ?
This celebration is hard to prevent.
We get together with our friends, so dear,
And scoff food and wine every moment.
 
We tell our children about Santa Claus.
They look forward to the presents he brings.
Making children happy is a good cause,
many Christmas Carols, always man sings.
 
Often we forget the weak and the needy,
We get lost in our happiness and joy.
It is so easy to become greedy,
And forget, that we celebrate this Boy.
 
The Boy Child of God, who was born this day,
In hardship, to help take our Sins away.

A friend broke their spine, in an accident,
And started behaving like a lunatic.
I prayed to God, to learn for a moment,
What does it feel like to be paraplegic ?
 
I can’t quite remember, what happened first,
I lost my job and could not pay my bills.
My life became, as if I had been cursed,
Ever since, I tried to feel my friend’s ills.
 
Because of my debts, I went to prison.
To look at the World, through bars, seemed unfair.
In my thoughts, my prayer had arisen,
To see life, but unable to go there.
 
A shiver went through me, as I realised,
Just what it was like to be paralysed.

Why do people of the world want to fight ?
They fight for causes and pass on the blame.
They always believe, that their side is right,
And their courage will bring them great fame.

The horror of war, so dreadful to see,
Lost children and families, torn apart.
Happy families, just like you or me,
A family, now with a broken heart.

Our religious beliefs are often used,
To make war against those, who disbelieve.
This cause to kill people makes me confused.
How can so many of us be so naive ?

Icons of our GOD SO GREAT, we have worn,
His disbelievers would never be born.

Room for improvement ? Always there will be.
Far better to rest from this type of stress.
Striving for perfection is not easy.
Sometimes, instead of more, you will get less.
 
Infinity is just like perfection.
Neither one nor the other has an end.
The end of a rainbow is an option.
Sometimes the answer is just to pretend.
 
If something seems perfect, then be aware,
That this thing may be too good to be true.
You must need to be sure, of what is there,
Perhaps something has been hidden from view.
 
Because as long as humans are around,
Then something perfect, can never be found.

Why do you look up, when I am down here ?
Do you think that heaven is up so high ?
You look far away, when I am so near.
I dance beside you, not up in the sky.
 
Shut your eyes and you will sense my dancing,
The rhythm of vibrations here with you.
My playful soul is running and prancing,
Until time ends, this is what I will do.
 
May be one day, you will come and join me,
When your turn to pass over is fated.
One day we may dance together with glee.
The fun I have is not overrated.
 
Until this day comes, your life you must lead.
When your time ends, you may find fun indeed.

Faith, Hope and Charity are good virtues.
Faith is our beliefs, a way of living.
Hope is desires for the life we choose.
Charity is our kind thoughts and giving.

All these three virtues can be with us now,
But without Hope, there can be no future.
Without a future, we can make no vow.
Lives would be pointless with no Hope for cure.

A Faithless future would also be hard,
And how would we cope with no Charity ?
To lose these virtues would put us on guard.
So we need to persevere with all three.

So it seems, that Hope alone is not good,
So I hope this moral is understood.

Festive times bring back our thoughts of loved ones.
Absent friends will be high up in our minds.
Fathers and Mothers are thought of by Sons.
Love’s thoughts is a mystery, that unwinds.
 
Where are the Spirits of our memories,
When our hearts are still not remembering ?
Do daughters mourn lost parents on Tuesdays ?
Are spirits of loved ones just wandering ?
 
They say the Falcon links Spirit to Life,
Watching us from clouds, high up in the sky.
We only remember at times of strife,
Just how good it is, to know how to fly. 
 
Is the Peregrine Falcon a lost soul ?
Or is it a heart to make our lives whole ?

God is love, so people say, but how do we know, what love is ? How does it comprise ?
Love comes in many shapes, forms and sizes, it has many guises to recognise.
Where does love begin and where does it end ? Is it part of life ? How do we survive ?
We talk of the birds and the bees, so could it be, that love comes from a beehive ?
Can it be, that love comes from a bird ? Or from a bird’s nest ? Is love part of nature ?
Can this energy be from God ? From love ? From our own life force ? How can we be sure ?

Are there many kinds of love ? If so, then how many kinds are there ? How do we know ?
Where does love start ? Is this the bond between nature’s animals ? Is this how we grow ?
Can it be, that love starts with our ego self ? Our personal survival instinct ?
Does this energy compel us to help others, so that we are not made extinct ?
Is this why we join together in groups, to help each other to survive danger ?
Is this instinct also part of our survival as a nation together ?

Is this why our desire to reproduce our species, is even stronger again ?
A desire so powerful, that to resist it, can only cause us tremendous pain.
