MY HUNGARIAN BRIDE
I once had a love, from a land far away,
Her feminine beauty was more than skin deep.
Trapped by a spell, after seeing her one day,
A feeling, that I would always want to keep.
One look in her eyes and my breath ceased to be,
My brain would not control my legs, nor my arms.
Paralysed, I could not move, nor could I see,
I was bewitched by this gorgeous woman’s charms.
When she spoke, it was like Angels were singing,
Her voice was gentler, than the still of the night.
When she laughed, it was like Church Bells were ringing,
And the darkness would suddenly become light.
Her name was Sarolta, which means a White Bride,
I hope, that one day she will be at my side.
