THE PEARL OF LIFE.

When our life is before us, to proceed,
It can be hard to decide where to start.
In order to find all the things we need.
We have to strive forward with all our heart.

You find your ambitions blocked by rules,
It can often be hard to make progress.
Your soul’s desires prevented by fools,
Often turning your hopes into sadness.

You find yourself having to make choices,
To be careful of the friends, that you keep.
Heed your thoughts, not other people’s voices.
The less you listen, the higher you leap.

Like some grit in an oyster you will be.
Become a Pearl, for all the world to see.
